All Carbohydrates are not bad

Several misconceptions and superstitions remain about Carbohydrates. People who suffer from over weight think that carbohydrates are all bad and try not to take Carbohydrates at all. But the reality is just the opposite. Our body needs carbohydrates and it is important for our survival. So, it is clear that we need Carbohydrates for a good health. Now the question comes what types of Carbohydrates we should take. Two types of Carbohydrates namely good and bad are available. We should avoid 'bad' carbohydrates but not the good ones. Our body needs nutrition and energy. Our body needs energy to complete its function. Carbohydrates provide that energy. Our body breaks Carbohydrates down into glucose when we take carbohydrates. Then our body uses this glucose as a sugar for energy. Whole grain cereals, breads, vegetables, fruits, nuts and beans contain necessary Carbohydrates. The body gets necessary Carbohydrates from our food in an unprocessed form. The processed foods contain a lot of bad carbs. In their natural state, these foods may contain some nutrition, but much of their nutrition and value is lost through several food processing stages. Finally it works to make you fat. Chips, pasta, white bread, soft drinks, biscuits, cakes, and candies are such kind of food. If you are serious about weight loss, you should avoid such foods at all. These processed foods contain a lot of sugar, and the sugar makes you fatter. Moreover sugar is the main element of such foods and they contain very little nutrition. And the most concerned fact is that body may easily convert them into fat deposit. Do you know regular processed foods taking also results in diabetes? If the process is continuing day after day, one day the condition will become so severe that in one time you may not control it even by insulin. But what should you do now? Will you omit all kinds of Carbohydrates from your diet chart? No, from the beginning we are telling you that Carbohydrates is very important for our health. So, you should take good Carbohydrates. In natural foods you may easily find good carbohydrates. Raw fruits, vegetables, legumes, seeds, wholegrain, whole meal pasta and wheat contain good carbohydrate. These foods also contain carbs but these carbs won’t make you fat. These are slow carbs. These take a long time to digest. Moreover these contain a high amount of fiber and fibrous foods that suppress your appetite for a long time. It also promotes regular bowel movements. So, you will not suffer from constipation problem. It provides you vitamins and minerals. From our above discussion we may say that carbohydrates are the must for us.
