Boosting Energy LevelsFeeling fatigued is very common in everybody’s life. Some people become so habituated with it that they take it for granted. Take right types of foodTaking the right type of feed can greatly boost your energy. Study the type of food you usually eat. If your food is not nutritious enough, you may not be getting the required energy. Avoid junk food, and take the foods consisting of nutrients - carbohydrates like whole grains, vegetables, fruits, proteins like dals, milk products, fish, chicken, etc. You should also avoid the Vegetables belonging to Brassica family such as cauliflower, cabbage, broccoli, mustard, and kale. These vegetables contain progoitrin, which may have adverse effect on your energy level. So, make changes to your food habit and experience the difference in your energy levels. Drink enough waterWater is obviously one of the greatest substances we need to maintain our energy. All knows it that the average body weight of an adult person is about 60 percent water. The study shows that we need approximately 8-10 8-ounce cups of water per day to maintain good health. Try to drink at least 8x 8oz glasses of water each day. So, finish at least 2 of those big 1-liter bottles of water every day, if you want to improve your energy levels. Do physical exerciseThere are two types of physical exercises that can greatly help maintain energy level. They are vigorous exercise and meditative-type exercise. You can boost your energy levels by simply adding light exercises to your everyday plan. Try to do exercise for 30 minutes each day, even if it is just walking for 30 minutes straight. It will greatly help the blood pumping. Exercise gradually, but steadily. Start slowly, so you don't increase your fatigue, and try to build up to 20 to 30 minutes of activity per day. You can also try various types of meditative-type exercises such as deep breathing and meditation. It is found that sometimes the meditative exercises work more than the vigorous exercises to maintain energy levels. Sleep wellLack of sleep decreases energy levels. Try to get 7-8 hours of good sleep each night. Try to set a definite time for going to bed and don't take work to bed. Avoid caffeine (from coffee, teas, colas, or chocolate). Practicing good sleep habits can greatly help increase energy level. Take VitaminsMalnutrition is greatly responsible for decreasing energy levels. Vitamins are essential for maintaining proper energy levels. You will feel more stamina and energy after consuming the required vitamins on a day to day basis. It is found that B vitamins help highly improve energy levels. So, whenever you feel fatigued, you can try any of the above ways. But if it does not work, then you should, of course, consult your doctor.
